Wedding food options

The days where the food at a wedding was either a sit-down 3-course meal or a standing buffet are long gone. Of course, there is nothing wrong with either of these if that is what you want, but if you are looking for something a little different, there are plenty of other options available to you that won’t break the bank.
Food trucks
If you’ve chosen a Morecambe Bay venue with extensive grounds for your reception, why not consider food tricks as an alternative to traditional catering? The advantage of food trucks is that they can be ideal if you have a limited budget. They can serve anything from hot dogs and burgers to ice cream, and it is a great way to give your reception an informal twist.
Late-night snacks
If you are planning to dance the night away at your reception, you might want to consider a few late-night snacks for your guests. This could be something as simple as pizza slices, small slices of cheese on toast, or something sweet such as mini chocolate muffins. This will give your guests the energy boost they need to make it to the end of the party, and it is another excellent option if you are organising the event on a limited budget.
BBQ
Another informal option is a BBQ or hog roast. This is ideal if you’ve chosen a relaxed venue as well as a casual atmosphere. It’s perfect during the summer months, but you may still be taking a risk with the weather. Gazebos can be drafted in at the last minute to provide a dry cooking area if it threatens to rain. And these days, there are plenty of plant-based options to keep any vegetarians in attendance happy.
